Matt. 5:48

"You shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."

The only way to be "perfect" as the Father is "perfect" is to be clothed, through faith, with the righteousness of Christ. This is necessary, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord" (Heb. 12:14).
