I Feel Exhausted!

Ever since we confirmed the dates for our Phil. trip, everything has been coming up and things to do has been much busier...aahhhh, I need a break I should say, but I couldn't. My husband is in the same situation as well as he is doing double time work to compensate his absence for 3 weeks for our vacation trip in the Philippines. By the time the day ends, we are both exhaused and just lie on bed sleeping like logs! LOL!

Before our Phil. trip, we still have have short trips (local) coming up, every weekend. We just pray tha we won't be too much exhausted when our long trip comes.

Meanwhile, I still continue to get busy as a bee...daily chores at home plus continous packing...seems this task is endless!!!

Poor me! :((.

Weekend Trip

So far, I consider this month the busiest one both I and hubby ever had this year. So this weekend, I and hubby thought of going to Atlantic City this weekend for a little fun :). We haven't had much of a trip lately, so we thought of just doing a one day trip there. Besides, hubby is happy doing this because he doesn't need to drive since it will be a bus trip.

All our weekend schedules are full until next month before we finally depart for Philippines on April 17. I hope we wouldn't be severely exhausted on the day of our trip.

I-751 Approved

Thank God, after only 26 days that my case was moved from Vermont to California, my I-751 (Petition to Remove Conditional Resident Status) was finally approved as per USCIS letter that they sent to me via mail last week.
After 8 months of sitting in Vermont, the long awaited approval (which was done in California) has come!...a big relief for me. I still have to wait for my green card (10-years) within 60 days afterwhich I can focus on the next final step...the US citizenship...yippee!

It's all worth the wait!

Erratic Climates!

Last week, most of the days were warmer (mid-60's), and I got excited going out. It was like early summer. I was hoping the temperature would still go warmer but sad to say it went back to 40's again, and windy! It will be the beginning of spring next week, I hope it would become warmer. Cool breeze would be okay. I can withstand it, LOL! Gosh, how I wish I can just pull summer ahead just to have fun outdoors! Whew!

Spring is Almost Here!

It's almost spring, and sooner, nature will bring out its colorful effects once again! It's also time to start digging our gardens and prepare our flowering plants, right? New Shower Curtain

I got a new shower curtain replaced on the shower room. It's not the washable type but it is antibacterial. It helps to fight off molds so it's ideal for long use :). I know it's kinda weird having those bamboo designs, but the color accent match most with the wall color.

On the other hand this curtain (on the floor) is a washable type, so it has to be changed at times more often. It's kinda sensitive to mold particularly at the bottom of it. Bad thing is, I didn't change it for more than a year...and now I wouldn't be sure if I can remove the stains. It has very attractive hooks, but some of the hooks slip off from the curtain rod everytime I move the curtain along. Anyway, I would still want to use this one because of its durability.

My Morning Exercise!

Would you believe I woke up early today at 8am on a cold windy morning (12F)? As I'm always telling I am not a morning person, but when a certain thing comes up on my mind that I really need to do, it sticks on my mind not until I am done with it. Well, that thing was to shovel 6" snow on our drive way and our foot walks. Our neighbors' fronts were all clean except ours, LOL! It's kinda embarrassing seeing it that way, so there I went with the morning exercise, shovelling thick snows on the drive way and foot walks. Whew! Cold but I'm well wrapped. Thank God, it wasn't too windy...or else, I won't be doing it.
The pavement wasn't scraped too well, but the bright sunshine helped the snow melts, so that the way is now clean :).
There are still lots of snow all over the lawn, but it would just melt in due time. It will be two weeks more before Spring comes. We're hoping no more thick snows this time.
I wanted so much to pull summer time, but spring has to come first...the time when nature has to give its pride to the world....colorful blooms! Well, at least the cold climate should be much warmer and more tolerant :).

Moth Traps That Work!

I don't like moths. They are annoying when I see them flying around the house. Sometimes, they seem to be around during summer, and I could see few of them on our outdoor screen. I usually shake the screen door just to keep them away but keep coming back. Thank God...didn't even know there are moth traps that are non-toxic :). This would be ideal particularly if you have smaller kids at home. The price is very affordable as well, so I might get one before those annoying moths start swarming in again!

Winter Storm?!

It's more than a little two weeks more before Spring season jumps in but I've just watched our local weather channel today and it says we have a winter storm coming of at least 6-8 inches thick expected today, Monday. I was thinking we could get warmer temperature this week and the coming week.

Well, I hope it won't be that bad, but just in case, I hope I can convince hubby not to go work. Sometimes, he's just so stubborn not to listen to me when it comes to his work. And I hope this would be the last winter storm we'll have so Spring can come and go fast, so I can enjoy summer, LOL!
