My New Friendster Blog is Up!

After more than a week of waiting, I finally was able to get a new blog from friendster (free subscription). I have been a paid subscriber for it for more than 6 months, and I haven't noticed anything different between a paid subscriber and a free subscriber, so I thought of just cancelling my subscription and go back to a free blog.

The downside is that, I have to delete the old blog so I could start a free blog. (seems like a blackmail by friendster to me), but anyway, I did it and I think that was a good move :). They allow exporting of the saved old blog, but mine exceeded the download limit, so, it was useless.

Deer In Our Yard ;)

Last weekend, while hubby and I were busy doing our lawn, there were couple of deers that suddenly came from the trees across the street and went gazing into the lawn. Hubby quickly said "get the camera, fast!" :). It was so amazing that they were not even scared on the sound of the lawn mower while hubby was mowing the lawn. I hurriedly ran inside to get the camera, and went back. Luckily, they seemed to be enjoying the grass and didn't mind what was happening around them. So, I was able to take good shots :)...they were both cute!

Our 3rd Balikbayan Box

We just sent in our balikbayan box today for shipping back to Manila Asian Foods for pick up. Since Monday is a holiday (Columbus Day), it will be picked up Tuesday. There are things that we were not able to include in the box since the box is smaller and very limited in size. The good thing was we got 2 boxes, the other one will be sent early next year. We didn't think of sending the 2 boxes at the same time because of the weight and the transport going to the store since there is no pick up service in our place :(.
Whew! Quite a big relief for the packing.

Our HD TV Installed!

Hubby was relieved as our new high-definition TV has been installed by the technician last Saturday. It's a 37" Sharp HD TV that we bought couple of weeks ago from office Depot. Now, he has 3 remote controls on his lap and still wondering what to do with those, LOL!
Well, there are still a lot of things to be discovered as he will learn the techniques and ways to do everything right. At first he messed it up and the TV went blinking like crazy!
