Are You Having Sleep Disorders? - Know The Key Symptoms!

Once in a while, everyone has restless night...but if one of your loved ones and/or friend has chronic sleep issues, see your doctor.
Here's what to look out for key symptoms:

Having a restless leg syndrome - you wiggle a lot. This neurological disorder affects 10% of adults and 2% in children. This symptom feels you always have the pressing urge to move your legs when you lie down to rest. Your sleep is disrupted by "buzzing" or itchy sensation during the night. Treatments that help are relaxation techniques, exercise and in some cases, medication.

Snoring loudly. - Sleep apnea can affect both men, women and children. Sufferers may gasp and may even stop breathing hundreds of times a night - which if left untreated can lead to heart disease. Other possible symptoms can be night sweats or morning headaches. Treatments that help are weight loss or wearing a mask that pushes air into your nose, mouth and throat.

Insomnia. - About 30-40% of adults have insomnia. This can become chronic if it lasts longer than a month and may require treatment that includes behavioral or environmental changes, relaxation techniques and sometimes medication.
