Surprising Sleep Stealers!
You might be surprised about this, but I was as well. According to my reads, here are the facts worth checking;
- A hot bath - they say warm bath is fine, but keep in mind that your body actually needs to cool down by few degrees before you fall asleep.
- A glass of chardonnay - It may work temporarily, but after few hours, alcohol can have a stimulating effect and wake you in the middle of the night.
- A last-minute workout. - Exercise within 2 hours of sleep revs you up and can disrupt your rest. Aim to do it in the morning.
- An overactive bladder - getting up 2-3 times every night interrupts sleep. Talk to your doctor about medications or surgeries that may help.
