How's Your Sushi 101? :)

Take note that sushi etiquettes don't apply to sushi restaurants. They have their own code of conduct. So, if you're a sushi lover, here are the etiquettes you should watch for, or at least you are familiar with.
  • Don't let your rice crumble into the sauce. You just might wanna use the sauce only when the chef suggests it.
  • Never mix wasabi into your soy sauce.
  • Talk with the sushi chef and inquire about what's you're having and where the fish comes from, etc...Let him know whether you like it and why it's good.
  • When you're dining at a serious old-school sushi establishments, don't ask California rolls or novelty rolls.
  • Never use your chopsticks in pointing at other people.
  • Pay attention to your food well. The sushi chef is always observing and makes decisions about what to give you next.
