Know Your Mammogram

All women shouldn't ignore mammogram screenings. If you are female over 40 years of age, start and consider screening with your doctor.
Factors that make you have a high risk of breast cancer include a family history of the disease, genetic mutations and use of hormone-replacement therapy or birth-control pills.
Yearly screening can reduce the risk of breast cancer 15% on average. But risks and benefits differ with each woman.
