After a business transaction at the Phil. Embassy, I got the chance to go around DC and tried visiting Washington National Cathedral. It was nice taking photos on the gothic architecture and colorful stained glass windows surrounding the church. After our tour there, we proceeded to Alexandria, Virginia and visited Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens. Going there was a challenge as the traffic was heavy. We didn't stay that much longer although there are yet so many things to see, but they are about to close. So, we are thinking of going back to see more of it. What a nice weekender! :).
