The Philippine National Election

There's a lot of politics in the Philippines these days, dirty or not, name it and both are there. It's few weeks more left before the actual presidential election, and as I follow up the news, it's still the same politics that happens...many are still hungry for power, ugh!!! Sometimes, I just think my vote would be useless...why? Many presidents have been voted, and Philippines is still the same. Corrupt politicians or not, Philippines hasn't changed! Minimal changes? of course, there's always a minimal change. But did Philippines make a progress for the majority? NO.
Enough of politicking! I'm even tired of it listening about politics in the Philippines.

Oh, yeah! It's just tough getting old. One of the main challenges is fighting those achy joints. And another challenge is to find out what best joint supplement is actually the best for you. Being well informed would be a great help, I think. And one of the best thing we could do is to read honest, independent reviews from both the experts and the users of joint supplement products that are being sold in the market today. A bonus would be to read further on articles based on researches and documented experiences. Check and be one of those to discover the top joint supplement products that are being chosen as well.

Finally, I Have My Oath!

I have been feeling down so lately with what is happening with my immigration papers regarding my citizenship oath. I had my citizenship interview in Baltimore where mostly they do same day oath taking after passing. Well, I passed the interview but they had to hold my oath because they wanted a police clearance for me to be submitted to them because my fingerprints were unreadable by FBI. I was delayed for another 2 months because of this...and it sucks!

Finally, on March 18, I received my oath schedule from the mail and I will be doing it on Friday this week :). Thank God! I'm tired and fed up dealing with USCIS! Hopefully, once I am done with all of these, it would be a BIG relief!....am hanging on, I'm almost there :).

My Tripod Gripper

I feel so excited getting my camera tripod gripper into use. I bought this the other week because I thought it's gonna be ideal for traveling. I have one tripod but it's the one with a long stand that can be extended and folded. I just find it more bulky than the gripper. While the bulky tripod takes a lot of time flex and extend the feet, the gripper is not, lighter to carry and very convenient attaching it to any connections when I want to take photo of myself without bugging any other people to do it for me, lol.
Perfect for our upcoming trip to the Philippines, yey!

No Painting The Town "Green" :(.

Early days of last week, we've already planned to watch the St. Patrick's parade in Baltimore supposed to be last Saturday (3-13). I should say it would be my 2nd time to witness one since I came here. It should be fun watching some stuff, and people colored green, LOL! Last time I was in Baltimore it so happened the parade was being held there and I saw these colored dogs and cats along the road, too! Well, one dog owner colored her hair green matching to the colored green dog she had.
Anyway, when I checked the weather the day before Saturday, it said the day would be with a heavy rain and wind. So, I was disappointed we couldn't make it. Anyway, that was nature, and I don't wanna argue with it, lol. It was windy all through out Saturday as well, but it was all worth it staying at home and watched movie with hubby.

If you're running out of time for a shower, run an unscented baby wipes over your skin, or swab the area with an alcohol-doused cotton ball. If you got some on your clothes, wash or dry clean as soon as possible.

Prevent Falls At Home

Are you or one of your family love one have high risks for falls? Certain health conditions can make you more at risk for falls, such as unstable knee joints due to arthritis or poor vision due to cataracts or other age-related changes.
It's always a good idea to check and review your prescription or OTC medications with your doctor if you have one. Certain drugs such as those for high blood pressure and depression can cause dizziness or light headedness.
Make your home as fall-free as possible. Remove clutter from areas where you walk often and put non-slip mats in the tub and in the shower and next to the toilet.
Make sure that stairways have hand rails or both sides.
Always keep your home well-lit and night-lights on. Also make sure that outside areas such as driveways and front walkways are well-lit, too.
