- Garlicky yogurt dip - stir chopped parsley and minced garlic into low-fat Greek yogurt.
- Tomato-cream cheese spread - a blend low-fat cream cheese with chopped sun-dried tomatoes and chopped toasted pine nuts.
- Cheese-free pesto - process basil, arugula and almonds with olive oil and lemon juice. Use as a dip or a sandwich spread.
- Creamy smoked-salmon spread - blend fromage blanc with smoked salmon, dill and celery.
- White bean dip - puree white beans with olive oil and lemon juice, then fold in chopped olives. Serve with hearty, dense bread.
