Happy Thanksgiving!
I would prefer saying "happy thanksgiving" than "happy turkey day". I feel it's much more fitting to say the thanksgiving word in every greeting I do because the essence of the occasion is always there. Why do we celebrate Thanksgiving anyway? It's not because of the turkey or any kind of meat we use to see on the table...it's comemorating the bountiful blessings we are having and what God is giving us through thanking Him.
Anyway, we will be having the usual thanksgiving dinner at my mom-in-law's house this evening. This is always an important tradition in the family.
Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone! Hope you have a good one :).
