Wardrobe Shifting

It's time for cooler outfits once again, and as usual, I need to shift summer clothings to keep and get all the cool outerwears back to the closet. How I wish we could have larger walk-in closet at home. We only have one small walk-in closet but it's all for hubby's work clothes in there. Would you believe I have to use 3 wardrobe cabinets to fit in all my outfits for all the season...lol! And I'm using 3 bedrooms wardrobe cabinets...that's the good thing to have extra rooms inside the house. Just large enough to go around where are the fall season outfits and winter outfits, spring and summer...well, it's kinda hassle digging in from different wardrobe cabinets, but that's better than no space at all.

30-Minute Pasta Primavera

Hey pasta lovers! Try this cooking recipe for your pasta.
Primavera means spring in Italian and Spanish, so ring in the new season with this healthy and delicious dish.

Ingredients:
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup sliced zucchini
1 cup macaroni or rotini pasta
1 tbsp. margarine
1 tbsp. flour
1 cup skim milk
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/8 tsp.black pepper
2 tbsp. parmesan cheese

Directions:
1. Steam vegetables until crisp-tender and cook macaroni according to package directions.
2. In a small saucepan, melt margarine and blend in flour.
3. Gradually stir in milk and seasonings. (Do not add cheese at this time.)
4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
5. Remove from heat and blend in cheese.
6. Pour over hot vegetables.
7. Add macaroni and mix together.

This yields 2 servings.

Voila! Time to eat!!!

For the past 2 days, I have been attached to Philippine news headlines...TV and internet. The news was so devastating to hear and so heartbreaking to see the actual sight of Manila's worst flood ever! My heart goes all to the victims, thank God my family is safe and away from the area. I could still recall when my hometown was struck with a typhoon and flood...and thanked the Lord so much that my family was still left unharmed. There must be something God is trying to tell us. I am praying we will be all guided to live a Godly life. God's chosen people will be spared from the wrath of disasters...just have faith!

Weather Update!

It went warmer today. While the rest of the days were in the 70's, it went to 80's today. It's actually the perfect temperature for me (not too cold nor too warm).
Tomorrow will be cooler (in the 60's) and will be rainy :(. I hope it wouldn't be raining the whole day, or else my driving would have to wait for a little while particularly the parking practice.
