In the past, I had terrible experiences with virus attacks on my PC's (I have 4 laptops). It was that time when I just wasn't so aware of how my PC's are highly vulnerable of virus attacks. I had the experience of having one of them shut down due to virus and just went dead, then spent hundreds of dollars to get it repaired and ending up buying a new one! That was crap!
Now, I am aware of it and all of my laptops are well protected. Been there, so I am highly recommending all who are mostly online to have at least a virus scanner that can offer you absolute protection. You'll never regret having one! It is just like getting a security protection for your identity as well.
