- Shortness of breath or fainting - these may signal a clot in your lungs known as pulmonary embolism,-and being overweight also increases your risks.
- Unexplained throat pain - it may mean heart attack if you feel jaw and throat discomfort, sweating, nausea, and unexplained fatigue. Classic symptoms are arm and chest pains more common in men.
- Unusual vaginal bleeding - Other than normal menstrual flow or common spotting due to contraceptives, it may mean ectopic pregnancy, cervical inflammation or even uterine cancer.
- Persistent stomach trouble - If you have diarrhea, cramping or rectal bleeding, don't wait weeks til it vanish. These symptoms may mean signs of inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's or ulcerative colitis) that can increase the risk for colon cancer.
Ovarian cancer can also appear as chronic gastrointestinal issues like pressure, bloating, indigestion and constipation.
