Oral Contraceptives & Pregnancy

Here's something to watch out. Oral contraceptives can be less effective in women who are overweight which put them at risk for unplanned pregnancies.
The research says that blood concentration hormones measured from a birth control pill in 20 women ages 18-35 found out that the pill took twice as long to achieve maximum concentration in an obese group as it did in normal - weight women.
