Ephedra Updates!

I bet many people know a lot about ephedra, an herbal remedy being used 5,000 years ago by the Chinese medicine. Although ephedra was considered to be effective in weight loss, it has been banned by FDA on April 12, 2004 due to ephedrine alkaloids that gives an unreasonable risk of illness and injury.
Ephedra has been widely used by athletes to improve athletic performance, but many people took too much leading to various adverse side-effects the reason why FDA banned the drug.
